Bespak Apprentice Open Evening

On Friday 5th May we hosted an Apprentice Open Evening at our site in King’s Lynn.

The event started at 6.30pm, with a presentation led by Justine McEwan, People and Performance Manager, providing details about Bespak and the type of apprenticeships offered. Apprentices shared their stories about their experiences.

A number of departments were showcased at the event. Tooling, Rapid Prototyping, Development and Manufacturing Systems – with hands on activities and presentations on the products Bespak develop and manufacture.

Bespak King’s Lynn Apprentices: Jemima Clayton, Daniel Jackson, Luke Gray, Robert Dickens, Kirstyn Johnson and Adam Wolfe.

 

Justine said “A number of colleagues are here tonight to talk about the departments in which they work, along with our own apprenticeship group to answer questions and give potential candidates an insight into what it is like to work at Bespak. The event has been a huge success with over 50 people in attendance on the night”

“We currently have 18 apprentices on site and Bespak will be recruiting an additional 4 apprentices this year.”

Bespak offer various Apprenticeship Pathways including Engineering Technical Support, Maintenance, Toolmaking, Injection Moulding, Quality Control, IT.
The qualifications that can be achieved through the scheme include BTEC, PEO, NVQ and HNC.
